Dhanush is an Indian film actor, playback singer and lyricist working in the Tamil film industry. He has featured in several hit films like Kadhal Kondein, Pudhupettai, Aadukalam. He also won the National Film Award for Best Actor and Filmfare Award for Best Actor – Tamil for his performance in Aadukalam. He became world famous for his mega hit song “Why This Kolaveri Di”. He has made his bollywood debut with a blockbuster movie Raanjhana.

Dhanush In VIP 2
Velaiilla Pattadhari 2 popularly referred to as VIP 2, is an upcoming Indian Tamil film directed by Soundarya Rajnikanth. A sequel to Velaiilla Pattadhari (2014), the film features Dhanush, Kajol and Amala Paul in the lead roles. Dhanush will play the role of Raghuvaran in the flick which is slated to release in 2017. Actress Ritu Varma will play an important role in the film. It will be similar to that of what Surbhi played in the prequel.

Dhanush got married to Rajnikanth’s daughter Aishwarya on 18 November 2004. They have 2 children Yatra Raja born on 2006 and Linga Raja born on 2010. Dhanush met Aishwarya on the first day show of his film Kadhal Kondaen. Once the film was over, he was about to leave, then he was introduced to Rajinikanth’s daughters Aishwarya and Soundarya.
They just greeted each other and left. The next day, Aishwarya sent him a bouquet quoted with, ‘Good work. Keep in touch’. He just took that very seriously and got married after their two years of love.
Dhanush Career
Dhanush made his acting debut with Kasthuri Raja’s film Thulluvadho Ilamai. He then appeared in his brother’s first directorial venture, Kadhal Kondein. In 2007, he gave his next blockbuster Polladhavan. The next year, he paired opposite Nayantara in Yaaradi Nee Mohini which became a big blockbuster at the box office. In 2011 his movie Aadukalam was the super hit. Besides acting, Dhanush also worked as playback singer, producer and lyricist as well.
